Alpha Anodising is a family business. It was formed in 1972 to fulfil a requirement for quality black anodising of motion picture equipment.

The Haig family, who founded and continue to operate the company, saw this original requirement from their viewpoint as professional engineers, and over 30 years later, this appreciation of the user's needs remains a vital part of Alpha's strength.
